Free to Play Grant
Camp Kawartha was honoured to be selected to deliver its innovative program Growing Nature Play as part of the Free to Play Grant from the Community Foundation of Greater Peterborough. This will enable Camp Kawartha to promote nature connection, active outdoor play in schools and early learning centres throughout the region.
Bring Back the Salmon
Nature School raised salmon from egg to fry to fish, in partnership with OFAH. We took a field trip to release them with our Nature School in June!
BIRDS AND BEES WITHOUT BUCKTHORN
Camp Kawartha is thrilled to announce that we have received funding through the Ontario Wildlife Foundation for a three year restoration, education and stewardship project at the Environment Centre within the Trent University Nature Sanctuary.
